フェロー諸島出身のヘビメタバンド「ティア」（Týr）のヘリ・ヨエンセン（Heri Joensen）は、その故郷の伝統捕鯨「グリンダドロップ」（Grindadráp）を頑なに擁護し続けるバイキングの戦士である。
