は、神様は困難を与えたもうたが、
乗り越える筋道を示して下さる、ぐらいの一般的な意味と解釈していたし、
池江さんもそういうニュアンスのツイートだったのだろうと推測するが、
聖書の一説にある言葉だという指摘があったんで、しゃーないからググってみたんだね。
そうすると英訳では、「試練」のところは大抵temptationsとかに

> No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is
> faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
> But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that
> you can stand up under it.


なっとるんだね。それから、testというのもあったね。

> Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people.
> But God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test,
> he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out.

これらの訳を合わせると、前段の箇所は、
テメーらが出くわすあらゆる誘惑は、フツーによくある類のモンでさ、
ぐらいの語感になるんかね。
すると、その辺の橋本さんの言い分は、temptationsというか
誘惑の一つという風な解釈も可能かなというのは、あるね。
ガバナンス、コンプライアンスなんかエーから好きなようにやっちまおうぜ、という。
まぁパーッと行こうぜぐらいの意味だったのだろうけどね。
（尤も、ギリシャ語やらラテン語やらで、どういう意味になっとるのかは知らん）
まぁ何れにせよ、恐らくノリでそう言ってしまったんだろうけど、マズイ事を云ったものだね。
