フランスの研究チームは、Journal of Infection誌に最近発表された論文（2021年8月10日）において、現行のワクチンではデルタ株に対してADE（抗体依存性感染増強）
の作用を強めるリスクがあることを指摘し、潜在的なADEリスクに対してより安全性の高い次世代ワクチンを開発していくことを考えるべきだと提言している。
