“Today, we remember and honor the memory of those who suffered during the Meds Yeghern, one of the worst mass atrocities of the 20th century.
Beginning in 1915, one and a half million Armenians were deported, massacred, or marched to their deaths in the final years of the Ottoman Empire.
I join the Armenian community in America and around the world in mourning the loss of innocent lives and the suffering endured by so many.

As we reflect on this dark chapter of human history, we also recognize the resilience of the Armenian people. Many built new lives in the United States

［イスタンブール　２６日　ロイター］ - トルコ中央銀行は２６日、後期流動性貸出金利を５０ベーシスポイント（ｂｐ）引き上げ、１２．２５％とした。他の政策金利は据え置いた。

引き上げは予想外だったが、エルドアン大統領の下で金融政策の独立が維持されるのかとの懸念は払しょくされない可能性がある。

翌日物貸出金利は９．２５％、１週間物のレポ金利は８％、翌日物借入金利は７．２５％で、それぞれ据え置いた。

中銀は、インフレ見通しが大幅に改善するまで、引き締めスタンスを継続する方針を表明した。
