A true tragedy and my heart aches for his family.
But if we're pretending that North Korea is the only one
carrying out extrajudicial killings of people who have made but an error in judgment,
failed to follow instructions,
or were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time,
let us not forget Philando Castile, Michael Brown, Freddie Gray,
and countless others whose unjustified deaths will also go unavenged.

悲劇でありご遺族には心底同情する。
ただ、自己責任とまでは言わないがアメリカ人がこの時期にあの国へ旅行へ行くのは
判断を間違っていたとも言えるし、現地の権力者のポスターをいじるのは
現地でのルール違反だったかもしれない。
我々が忘れてはならないのは白人警官に意味無く射殺された（黒人の）カスティーヨで
あり、マイケルブラウンであり、フレディグレイである。
殺人者が処罰されていない、という意味では同じなのだから。
