Prescilla Bartonico was 17 when she was captured by the Japanese.
Bartonicoが日本兵に捕らえられたのは17歳の時だ。
The door banged open and soldiers from the Imperial Japanese Army were suddenly upon them.
They grabbed Bartonico’s cousin and dragged her across the floor. The girl screamed and kicked and
scratched the soldiers’ faces. Three soldiers took turns raping her before they killed her.
（防空壕の）扉が乱暴に開き、兵士らが彼女らに襲いかかった。彼らはBartonicoの（年下の）いとこを引きずり掴んだ。
その少女は叫んで兵士を蹴飛ばし、顔を引っ掻いた。いとこは３人の兵士に代わる代わるレイプされた後、殺された。
Witnessing her cousin’s assault and murder, Bartonico wept as another soldier tied her up and raped
her in front of her family and friends.
いとこへの暴行と殺害を見たBartonicoは縛り上げられ、家族と友人らの前でレイプされて涙を流した。
For the next three months, Bartonico was imprisoned in a military garrison in the town of Burauen in the
Philippines. She said she was raped multiple times daily, “by five to eight” men.

When I met Zhang in her dark and shabby home, she recalled the day Japanese soldiers broke into her house
and abducted her at the age of 15.

She was 15 in October 1941 when she was raped by Japanese troops invading her hometown.
She later spent two years in a brothel as a sex slave for Japanese soldiers, the report said.
