A forensic scientist has revealed how she quashed rumours that Princess Diana was pregnant at the time of her death.
It was speculated that at the time of the tragic Paris car crash that the late People’s Princess was expecting lover Dodi Fayad’s child.
But Angela Gallop, whose career spans over 45 years, claims to have taken a sample of the 36-year-old’s stomach contents.
And she explained that there were two key areas involved in the high profile investigation.
She told The Sunday Times: "The first was to see if the blood samples taken from Diana contained any of the pregnancy hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).
"The second was to look for any evidence that she might have been taking a contraceptive pill."
The expert has written about her findings in her new book, 'When the dogs don't bark: A forensic scientist's search for the truth'. (リンク先に続きあり)
