西日本鉄道は25日、福岡市の遊園地「かしいかえん　シルバニアガーデン」を12月30日で閉園すると発表した。1956年に開園し、チューリップやバラなど季節の花々や観覧車などの遊具で親しまれたが、施設の老朽化や利用者の減少で半世紀以上の歴史に幕を下ろすことを決めた。【石田宗久】
