東京五輪開会式の演出責任者を解任された小林賢太郎氏が過去にユダヤ人大虐殺を揶揄した問題で、駐日イスラエル大使が強い非難を表明した。

　小林氏はお笑い芸人時代にユダヤ人の大虐殺を笑いのネタにしていたことが明るみに出て、２２日に開会式の責任者の職を解任された。この問題を受けて、ヤッファ・ベンアリ駐日イスラエル大使が自身のツイッターで強い抗議を表明。

「私は駐日イスラエル大使として、そして大虐殺からの生存者の娘として、有名なコメディアンの小林賢太郎氏が過去に行った反ユダヤ主義の発言を聞いてショックを受けた」と今回の騒動で精神的に大きな被害を受けたと強調。そのうえで「大会組織委員会に対し、小林氏の非常に不快な行為を強く非難した。そのような行為は、日本やオリンピックに関連するものであってはならない。解任という組織委員会による迅速な対応を評価している」と怒りは収まらないものの、解任という最低限の措置に理解を示した。

　ただ、開会式で小林氏が関わった演出が強行される可能性がまだ残されており、その対応次第では外交問題への発展は避けられそうにない。
