インド政府は2023年8月3日に、PCの輸入に制限を設け、免許取得の義務付けを即時施行すると発表しました。しかし、この輸入制限を受けてDellやApple、Samsungなどが直ちにすべての新規輸入をストップして混乱が生じたため、インド政府は施行を3カ月遅らせると発表しました。
