Additional debris discovered on the sea floor Thursday “is consistent with the catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber” of the Titanic-bound submersible that went missing Sunday, Rear Adm. John Mauger of the US Coast Guard told reporters at a news conference.

The company that operated the Titantic-bound deep-sea submersible that went missing Sunday with five people aboard said in a statement Thursday that it believes all of them are dead.

オーシャンゲートは声明で「当社の最高経営責任者（CEO）ストックトン・ラッシュ氏、シャザダ・ダーウッド氏と息子のスレマン・ダーウッド氏、ハミッシュ・ハーディング氏、ポール・アンリ・ナルジオレット氏が残念なことに亡くなったと考えている」と発表した。

“We now believe that our CEO Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, Hamish Harding, and Paul-Henri Nargeolet, have sadly been lost,” OceanGate said in a statement.
